Browsing Research
Overview
IDC organizes its research into ten main categories online:
- Business Areas
- Communications
- Consumer
- Geography
- Global IT and Economic Markets
- Hardware
- Services
- Software
- Vertical Markets
- Web
Each main category also contains a second and third level of categories. The categories become more focused within each grouping. You will begin to receive a set of document results at the first level category, or when you perform a keyword search using our search engine. Browsing Research
- Click on the Research tab at the top of the page to display the main categories
- Click on any of the links underneath a category to go to the second, more focused level.
- The third level of topics will contain documents that match the category you have browsed.
 The
locked icon indicates you do not have access to a document. Clicking on the title will present the document's synopsis where you can determine if you would like to purchase access to the document.
Documents that are accessible to you will not display a lock and will instead display links to read the full document online or download a PDF of it. |
