Personalization Overview:
From the My IDC tab, you can setup email alerts for new research, save searches to be run on a schedule, and select topics that will display research on your My IDC page and throughout the site, just for you when you are logged in.
How to setup email alerts on new research
- Login to idc.com and click on the My IDC tab.
- Click on Set Preferences link under the My IDC tab.
- Select a frequency for alert notifications in the menu: Daily, Weekly, Monthly. DO NOT SEND will prevent any research alerts from being sent to you.
- Choose the interest areas, subscriptions, geographies and analysts that you are interested in, then click on Submit at the bottom of the page.
- Alerts of new research are sent to users Monday through Friday based on new research that has been published. If no new research has been published, alerts will not be sent. idc.com also maintains a list of documents that have already been sent to each user, so duplicate notifications will not be created.
