    This web conference series will highlight what IDC believes the future holds across industries and technologies. Each segment will identify and discuss the most dynamic issues and trends:

New this year: IDC Insights analysts will provide insight on long-term trends in their industry along with thought-leadership on new and unexpected themes that may be on the horizon. You'll hear unique and thoughtful perspectives on emerging trends that will help you plan for the future. The goal of our Predictions web conferences are to arm you with insight into what to expect for the coming years, so you can be better prepared to capitalize on opportunities and grow your business.

The web conference series kicks off on Monday, December 5 with an IDC Insights cross-industry discussion hosted by Meredith Whalen, Senior Vice President, IDC Insights and Vertical Markets Research. The presentation will feature a panel of research vice presidents from the six industries that comprise IDC Insights.

Following the group discussion, there will be 16 separate web conferences focused on specific industries and regions. In addition, we'll explore high-level issues affecting CIOs and IT executives during our web conference focused on the CIO Agenda.
