Vladimir Pozdnyakov
Regional Manager, Ukraine

Vladimir Pozdnyakov leads IDC's office in Ukraine. Joining IDC in 2005, he oversees operations and research for the PC, server, peripherals, and mobile services market in the country. Vladimir also helps monitor the Ukrainian economy and IT markets on a quarterly basis.

Before joining IDC, Vladimir served at an ITC Publishing house, where he edited one of the Ukraine's most famous and influential IT weekly magazines. He has extensive knowledge of the Ukrainian distribution environment and prepared numerous IT market studies in many of the areas covered by IDC.

Vladimir graduated from the Kiev Military Air University, the Department of Control Systems, and has a Master's of Applied Mathematics.

 


Aleksey Gvozdenko
Senior Analyst, Imaging and Hardcopy

Aleksey Gvozdenko joined IDC in 2005 and is responsible for hardcopy peripherals and digital still camera market research. Aleksey also helps monitor the Ukrainian economy and IT markets on a quarterly basis.

Before joining IDC, Aleksey served at an ITC Publishing house as the stuff writer for the one of the Ukraine's most famous and influential IT weekly magazines.

Alexey graduated from the Physics Faculty of the Kyiv Taras Shevchenko University in 1996, and has a Master's of Physics with Honor. After graduating the University, he was also working in the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for several years.

 


Andrew Golovnykh
Senior Analyst, Systems and Storage

Andrew Golovnykh joined IDC in February 2006. He is responsible for PC, Server and Disk Storage analysis, researches and projects.

Before joining IDC, Andrew worked in IT media for 10 years, since 1995: first at ComputerWorld/Kiev weekly, then at PC World Ukraine magazine, and since 2000 - at CHIP Ukraine magazine. During 2004-2005 he was Deputy Editor-in-Chief (Hardware) and Testlab Chief at CHIP Ukraine.

Andrew graduated in 1987 from the Civil Aviation Institute in Kyiv (now National Aviation University of Ukraine), the Mechanical Department, and has MS in Aircraft and Engines Maintenance. In 1991-1995 Andrew was an engineer at Antonov Design Bureau (Lofting Department).

 


Alexander Kopich
Research Analyst, Software & IT Services

Alexander Kopich joined IDC in 2005 and is responsible for researches of Software and IT Services markets.

Before joining IDC, Alexander gets experience as marketing manager at several Ukrainian IT companies and was responsible for market researches and PR activity. 

Alexander graduated from the Faculty of information and computer techniques of the National Technical University of Ukraine in 2004, and has a Master's of computer systems and networks.
