IDC & HPE CxO Leadership Digital Roundtable 2021 Hong Kong

March 17, 2021

Overview

Building a Digitally Resilient Infrastructure

The COVID pandemic tested the resiliency of every organisations and the people within them.  Most organisations realised the gaps in their IT strategy caused by lack of ability to change and adapt to the new market remit. IDCs Covid-19 surveys of tech buyers conducted globally every 15 days from march till September 2020 showed a huge focus by organizations to reduce digital gap in their strategy, and continue to transform despite the adversities. The focus was largely on improving customer experience, build more intelligence and automation into the process, invest in cloud to build more resiliency, and provide the necessary tools and flexibility to the workforce to improve productivity (see chart below).

Continuing our discussion from last year with CxOs, to build a more digitally ready organisation, IDC together with HPE has embarked on a discussion this year that talks to building digitally resilient infrastructure framework that should assist in the recovery from the pandemic.  As part of this, IDC has built a tool to benchmark organisations on their digital resiliency, and during the round table would share results and discuss next steps in improving the state of resiliency.  Please join us in these round tables as we conduct them across the region.
