Digital Event | December 8 - December 9, 2021

IDC Industry Innovation Awards 2021

The IDC Industry Innovation Awards is a forum specifically designed for today's operational and technology leaders as a platform for open networking with peers and technology partners. The awards in 2021 recognize the realization of the transformative journey that organizations have gone through and provide an opportunity to explore industry-focused content by IDC thought leaders.

Organizations are rapidly adapting to recent disruptions and market conditions. According to the September result of IDC's Future Enterprise Resiliency & Spending Survey (Wave 8, 2021),

"94% of Indian organizations are maintaining or increasing investment in digital technologies with a priority on employee productivity and customer satisfaction."

In recognizing the transformations that organizations undergo, IDC recognizes that they start at varying levels of maturity. As such, organizations will select initiatives that help them build foundations, grow capabilities, and invent for future innovation and growth.

In our virtual awards ceremony, IDC analysts and industry experts will share insights and present on the theme 'Build, Grow & Invent: The Route to Realisation.' The event will also witness the celebration of naming the crème de la crème of India's tech leaders. Nominations are closed for the 8th IDC Industry Innovation Awards 2021. Winners will be announced at the main event. Scroll below to know more about dates, agenda, speakers, and what awaits for you at the event of the year!

Build, Grow & Invent: The Route to Realisation

Realizing value from technology investments requires organizations to carefully select use cases that will create value. Then, a business case is developed from these use cases that will deliver on capabilities to support current priorities while laying the foundations for future strategies. The level of investment and complexity of the use cases will vary depending on the organization's maturity, and the projects undertaken will support digital growth at these different levels through:

BUILD

Building the foundation on which organizations will lay down future digital expertise and capabilities.

GROW

Developing products and processes that rely on digital solutions allows organizations to grow their market share, grow into new markets, and pivot product and service offerings.

INVENT

Taking the organization to new levels by implementing emergent technologies and digital processes at scale, pushing the boundaries, and creating new market segments through the capabilities they enable.

For more than three-quarters of Indian organizations disruptions of the pandemic highlighted the need for a digital-first strategy(1)

That data is critical is almost non-debatable now! Leaning on data to be able to understand the entire ecosystem of partners, suppliers, and customers, to be able to drive real-time business decisions is among the top priorities for Indian organizations. However, organizations are overwhelmed with the data deluge.  What increases the complexity is the use of disparate on/off-premises and multiple cloud technologies for their data-associated needs. The need of the hour, thus, is to leverage a new-age data architecture that supports the enterprise needs of faster analytics at scale across varied environments, all in a secured and compliant manner. This session will discuss how organizations can unleash the value of data to become digitally resilient.
