IDC Predictions 2013

Vienna, January 24, 2013

Do you lead in difficult times by being more innovative?

Innovation is the engine of growth. As organizations are forced to tighten budgets in this challenging economic environment, the innovation process should not stop or slow down. In fact, it can and should accelerate during more austere conditions. There’s a plethora of technological advancements that include increased mobility and connectivity, new levels of data and knowledge, and ubiquitous computing, which can dramatically expedite the business innovation process. These and other game-changers will further transform how we market, sell, communicate, collaborate, educate, innovate, and much more.

No matter what industry you are in, your company cannot survive or stay competitive without technology and innovations. At the IDC 2013 Predictions Event, the discussion will focus on:

  • The specifics of today’s economic environment and the outlook for tomorrow
  • Innovation’s importance in challenging economic times
  • The role of IT as a catalyst for innovation and business agility
  • The value for businesses offered by new-generation technologies (the cloud, social apps, big data, mobility)
  • The importance of business strategy over technology strategy (alignment of the IT agenda with business)
  • Preconditions and KPIs for efficient innovation processes and technology deployments

This is an invitation-only event. If you think you should be among the invitees, please contact: Claudia Lembach,

We encourage the following people to attend:

  • Top C-level management: CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, COOs, CTOs, CIOs, CMOs
  • Deputies and director-level heads of key Austrian ministries and public-sector agencies
