The Digital Pivot is the New Normal

Defining the new normal in light of pandemics, extreme weather events, trade wars, social unrest, and technology-driven disruption comes loaded with caveats and exceptions. Nevertheless, one thing is clear: The ability to rapidly pivot on multiple fronts will be required. Customers may move from stores and branches to apps to websites to partner sites — then back to stores and branches. Workers will move between homes and offices. Shifts in supply chains and local logistics require innovative improvisation to ensure deliveries.

Digital technology is instrumental for adapting to the new normal, which is redefining what it takes to remain competitive and successful. On December 3, we will dive into the ways we are Harnessing the Forces of Change to Reshape the Enterprise, with a focus on how Greek organizations can address the need for rapid pivots and evolve to become a Future Enterprise.

The new need for fluidity means infrastructure must be flexible. It must support modular platforms that can enable rapid function additions and product and service prototyping. Platforms must be easy to run or plug into a full ecosystem of tools and applications from a wide range of suppliers. And the Future of Trust means IT security must be considered in light of risk, compliance, privacy, social responsibility, and even business ethics. At the same time, end point, system, and network security will be essential for the digital flexibility required to protect data and systems as workers shift between home and office and customers shift between digital channels.

Key Topics
