From Secure to Trusted: A Journey to Digital Leadership

This new decade has already provided many lessons. One is that the mantra “never let a good crisis go to waste” could have been written for the cybercriminal fraternity. Another is that the concept of digital trust is rapidly becoming a business imperative in the digital era. At the heart of all this, as always, is security: the critical barrier between data integrity and compromise; and a fundamental building block for digital trust.

But trust encompasses so much more. From privacy and compliance to sustainability; from ecommerce to trusted ecosystems; and from ethics and transparency to brand reputation and loyalty.

Engendering digital trust is a business imperative, but it requires leadership and governance from board level to ensure that it becomes part of the very fabric of the business.

Staying in control of your growing attack surface

Mikkel Planck

Senior Sales Engineer, CrowdStrike

While your attack surface keeps growing and complexity rises on the defensive side, it seems to get easier for attackers to launch cyberattacks and get new tools at their disposal.

So where should you focus your energy? How can you simplify security, without actually sacrificing visibility, productivity or flexibility?
Will your tools detect and stop any malicious activity? Or do you still need human intelligence? And how much of that human intelligence can you have in-house?

These business challenges and more will be addressed in our session "Staying in control of your growing attack surface

Resilient Endpoint Security

Michelle Andrews

Personal System Services-EMEA Business Development, HP

Over the past year IT departments, management and their end-users have endured many challenges. Moving to hybrid work overnight, this significant shift in workstyle has moved the attack vector outside of the office and exposes vulnerabilities at end-users. HP has launched security solutions and services that support IT leaders to address these vulnerabilities. Hardware protection of firmware below the OS, protecting from ransomware in the OS, and AI-based protection from malware threats.

In the world of cyber threats, you can’t predict, but you can prepare.

Executive Security Advisor, IBM

Hear about challenges in being prepared for a future breach, get insights on how much a data breach could cost your business, and how to get buy-in from top management on your security strategy.

The role of AI in achieving sustainable cyber resilience through XDR (extended detection and response)

Baldeep Dogra

Director, Product Marketing (Solutions & Industry), Blackberry

Preparation is a key factor in successful threat prevention against the exponential increase and sophistication of Ransomware-as-a-service (RaaS) and other malware. Threat actors globally are continuously developing new attack strategies, exploiting every vector possible and testing zero trust strategies. Understanding how current events and the multiple entry points employed by threat actors impact your organization’s attack surface can make the difference between a data breach and a successful cyber defense.

Predictive artificial intelligence (AI) prevents the execution of previously unknown, known and custom malware and payloads, signature free. Only advanced Machine Learning providing native artificial intelligence can ensure a prevent-first approach against zero-day cyberthreats with the required speed and agility to secure effective end-to-end defence within an extended organization.  Organizations are therefore looking at how to improve the visibility into all sources of data to stay ahead of the multiple threat vectors being employed using new frameworks such as XDR.  This AI/ML approach is critical to achieving sustainable cyber resilience with XDR.

Attack Surface Management: A Game-Changer in Security Operations

Frederik Pilebo

Regional Sales Manager, Palo Alto Networks

As more organizations move to the cloud, attack surface management (ASM) is becoming a key pillar in security operations. Half of all organizations surveyed in this MIT report have already experienced an attack on an unknown, unmanaged, or poorly managed asset and almost 20% more expect to be attacked. Tune into the presentation to learn:

  • The state of ASM in organizations today
  • Why you should expect your board of directors to ask about your ASM plan
  • How ASM can help keep you secure
