Overview

The UN has adopted 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which have a profound impact on many aspects of everyday life and modern economy. Slogans such as innovation, clean, accessible energy, responsible consumption have become commitments undertaken by countries, international organizations and corporations. What does it mean in practice and why is it particularly important today for companies to take responsibility for their actions?

On Day I of the conference, we will focus on:

  • The challenges of producing clean and accessible energy (decarbonization)
  • Green Deal and EU regulations in the field of sustainable development
  • Social aspects of sustainable development

On Day II of the conference, we will focus on modern and sustainable manufacturing.

Increasingly, entrepreneurs are focusing on the sustainable development of their companies, seeing this not just as a cost or marketing consideration, but as a new way forward. In this spirit, manufacturers need to run transparent and responsive operations, enabling them to respond quickly and flexibly to changing market and customer demands. Many technologies that help them become more transparent, responsive and customer centric. Our forum aims to encourage dialogue between manufacturing companies and technology providers and a peer-to-peer exchange on lessons learned.
