IDC and UiPath are hosting an executive dinner for senior business and technology leaders to explore how organisations can apply automation strategically: in support of customer experience excellence, employee experience, business resilience, and operational transparency.

Automation is a topic that is at the top of organisations’ investment priority lists across Europe – nearly 35% of senior leaders say it is a top investment priority. But is it only useful as a driver of efficiency?

The current wave of interest in modern Intelligent Process Automation platforms has grown largely on the back of projects to streamline administrative work in functions such as finance and accounting, procurement, and IT. Applying automation in these functions has primarily been focused on increasing operational efficiency.
