Overview

Enterprise cloud environments are more distributed than ever before, making hybrid and multicloud an enterprise reality.

But, shockingly 8 in 10 EMEA organizations are finding it difficult to realize the full value from their cloud environments, according to IDC research.

This is because most organizations are stuck in a "messy middle" characterized by limited visibility, spiraling spend, management complexity, silos and limited data portability.

A successful multicloud strategy is one that can support business needs – be it sustainable IT operations, AI-driven innovation, resilience, or compliance. It is focused on the "art of and" than the "or" by combining scale, speed and innovation with governance, efficiency and optimization

Multicloud success this decade is laser focused on:

• Flexibility and choice

• Meeting all workloads' needs

• Unified control of cloud to core to edge

• AI-readiness through data readiness

• Sustainability and cost optimization.

It is no surprise then that these multicloud priorities are among the top areas where organizations said they will invest in 2024-25 when it comes to their cloud operations.

Nearly half of tech buyers plan to spend more on cloud connectivity and interconnection services than their original 2023 cloud budget. In addition, research shows that 40% of tech buyers will consciously spread resources, skills, and development efforts across several clouds whose native-cloud offerings equally address infrastructure, data, and application needs.

These investments and strategies are shaping the modern multicloud vision of digitally savvy organizations.

Why Attend?

Join IDC and industry leaders to discuss how to maximize the impact of the new spend for multicloud success. The key themes explored in this webinar will include:

• Best Practices in Overcoming the Current Challenges (complexity, silos, costs, lack of skills) for an Effective Multicloud Environment

• What are the Modern Multicloud Building Blocks to Support AI and GenAI Vision (data portability, security, access controls, right data for right models, compliance, flexibility)

• How to Capitalize on Multicloud as a Means to Green and Efficient IT Operations and Meeting Sustainability Objectives (matching workload needs to right infrastructure, unified visibility and control, integration from cloud to core to edge, flexible consumption)

• What Good Looks Like and What Digitally-Savvy Organizations are doing differently (Examples, adaptive cloud, future-readiness, tightly aligned tech partnerships)

In this webinar Archana Venkatraman, IDC Senior Director, Cloud Governance and Multicloud Data Management Research will be joined by experts from Dell Technologies, Microsoft and Intel.

IDC predicts that by 2025, 65% of the G2000 will engage in Multicloud through Ecosystems That Provide Valued Services, Application Development, and Integration from the Distributed Cloud to the Edge.

Time to be ready. Join the conversation and learn how!
