This market covers the convergence of long-standing data-intensive simulations and newer methods for handling advanced data analytics. Market participants include established HPC sites, many of whom are adding analytics to their customary simulation workloads; commercial firms adopting HPC for the first time to tackle mission-critical data analytics challenges that enterprise server technology can't handle well alone; and TAM-expanding vendors moving in the HPC enterprise direction and vice versa.
