This IDC Retail Insights study provides a comprehensive overview of the role of IT to achieve business objectives for 2017 and beyond. It draws on the results of the 2017 IDC Asia/Pacific (Excluding Japan) (APEJ) Retail Trend survey, which included respondents from 260 retailers from Australia, New Zealand, India, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
"Digital transformation has changed the way consumers engage with brands, and it is a must-do for all retailers. DX will enable retailers to strengthen their relationships with customers, empowering employees to drive revenue growth while also improving operational efficiencies, helping the organization to alleviate, if not outright eliminate, silos of processes and talents," says Mike Ghasemi, research director, IDC Retail Insights Asia/Pacific.
