IDC Education Insights conducted a survey covering the business, operational, and technology deployment priorities, as well as the innovation and transformational strategies of educational institutions in the Asia/Pacific (AP) region. The survey aimed to understand the education sector's current scenario and identify the challenges and possible technologies used to address these concerns and challenges.
"A common result based on our survey findings and conversations with educational technology decision-makers is that they are increasingly looking for business value ROI when investing in technology solutions. Better learning and teaching outcomes, as well as enhanced administrative and security productivity, are now inexorably tied to each technology investment," shares Gerald Wang, head of Public Sector, IDC Asia/Pacific. "Hence, solution providers and vendors serving this space must become trusted value-added partners of AP institutions rather than traditional product-centric partners, especially when driving further digital transformation (DX) automation and creating enhanced personalized initiatives."
