Atos in Asia/Pacific: Update on Its Digital Transformation Journey, 2018/2019 and Beyond
The Atos Asia/Pacific leadership team organized an analyst briefing on November 27, 2018 with a group of IDC analysts. This Market Note focuses on updates around Atos' Asia/Pacific business, specifically, around three major business units, namely, Infrastructure and Data Management (IDM), Business and Platform Solutions (B&PS), and Big Data and Security (BDS) in Asia/Pacific.
"Atos is progressively transitioning from the traditional datacenter outsourcing, IT services business to become a more digitally empowered and digital transformation-oriented services provider. The change can be clearly seen in its portfolio and strategy level (e.g., Atos' Bridge delivery model is a great example of how it is reimaging service delivery to focus on business outcomes rather than IT)," says Cathy Huang, senior research manager, IDC Asia/Pacific Services and Security Research. "Yet for its clients to experience the change and have it reflected in business results, Atos has to make concerted efforts in pushing forward on workforce, culture, and on-the-ground execution fronts," Huang adds.
