According IDC, by 2019, 40% of A1000 companies will be using data from digital twins of internet of things (IoT) connected products and assets to improve product innovation success rates and organizational productivity, achieving gains of up to 30%. Companies have placed IoT at the center of their long-term growth strategy and are increasing investments around infrastructure and process reengineering.
