Abstract

This IDC Survey includes data from IDC's 2020 COVID-19 Impact on IT Spending Survey. IDC conducted a global survey from August 5 to 17, 2020. This document provides results and analysis from an Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) (APEJ) survey of 347 senior leaders who are decision makers and/or influencers across IT, line-of-business (LOB), and C-level roles in their organizations' work transformation initiatives. The respondents are from a broad range of industries and company sizes. The APEJ poll was designed to understand shifts in IT, LOB, and C-suite confidence, decision making, and spending in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. This survey examines trends in work from home and return to physical facilities with corresponding IT spending across three time periods: preā€“COVID-19 pandemic, current, and after the availability of a COVID-19 vaccine.
