This IDC Survey focuses on the Australia/New Zealand (ANZ) IT buyers' reaction to the COVID-19 pandemic and how it has impacted ICT budgets as of May 16, 2020. It analyses the expected impact of the pandemic across ANZ, focusing on:
- The prioritisation of technology investment areas as ANZ businesses move from crisis mode to recovery and growth
- The stage that businesses are at in the journey to recovery and the technologies that will have the greatest investment
- The manner and area that COVID-19 will create a permanent change in the business and the priorities that will shape technology investment decisions
- The breakdown of increasing versus decreasing budgets across hardware, software, services, telecommunications, 3rd Platform technologies, and innovation accelerators
This presentation is based on the results of IDC's Worldwide COVID-19 Impact Survey, Wave 4 (May 16, 2020) involving over 1,000 organisations across 25 countries, including 89 respondents from ANZ.
