As digital transformation in Southeast Asia reaches a more mature stage, there has been a steady increase in the number of equipment, devices, and software licenses. As a result, the potential attack surface is larger than before. Rightfully, organizations in the region have maintained security among the top priorities with respect to their digital transformation projects. "However, there are differences in the security objectives among the enterprises in Southeast Asia countries compared to their Asia/Pacific counterparts, which ultimately determines the spending trends," says James Sivalingam, research manager, IDC Asia/Pacific Services Research Group.
