On-line Presentation

Abstract

According to IDC Manufacturing Insights Asia/Pacific Survey 2019, majority of the organizations indicated that improving supply chain operations is one of their largest priorities in the next few years. The profitability and efficiency of manufacturing operations depend heavily on how the existing supply chains are managed and maintained. Considering the large-scale moving away of manufacturing value chains from China, the role of these supply chains becomes all the more important.

This IDC FutureScape covers a global and regional outlook of the supply chain along with the top 10 predictions for 2020 that attempt to explain technologies as viable enablers. Each prediction is presented based on the timeline projection, complexity assessment, and organizational impact in the Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) (APEJ) region. This presentation also includes insights into regional use cases and examples as well as the regional outlook for supply chains over the next five years.
