On-line Presentation

Abstract

This IDC Survey features data from IDC's 2020 COVID-19 Impact on IT Spending Survey, a global survey conducted from August 21–31, 2020. This document provides results and analysis from 329 Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) (APEJ) senior leaders that are decision makers and/or influencers throughout IT, line-of-business (LOB), and C-level roles in their organizations' work transformation initiatives. The respondents are from a broad range of industries and company sizes. The APEJ poll was designed to understand shifts in IT, LOB, and C-suite confidence, decision making, and spending amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This survey also examines not only investments in contactless technologies but also returning to physical facilities with corresponding IT spending across three time periods: pre–COVID-19 pandemic, the current COVID-19 situation, and after the availability of a COVID-19 vaccine.
