On-line Presentation

Abstract

This IDC Survey highlights Australia’s results from IDC's Worldwide Digital Transformation Leader Sentiment Survey, 2019. In this research, all respondents' organisations are already undergoing digital transformation (DX), and it is a priority in their business. This presentation provides IT vendors with an understanding of the current tech buyer sentiments depending on the businesses' maturity toward DX from the digitally determined to the digitally distraught as they move along their DX journey to become future enterprise. Key areas covered in this presentation include:

  • The priorities and concerns of CEOs that shape DX investment in 2020
  • The way digital maturity is shaping business investment
  • The differences in behaviour and intent between the mature (digitally determined) and the laggards (digitally distraught)
  • The key business benefits being realised and the value the initiatives have added to the business
  • The technology projects, funding, and budgeting being driven by DX
  • The state of digital metrics usage in Australian organisations
