On-line Presentation

Abstract

The year 2020 was unparalleled for healthcare SPs globally and in Asia/Pacific — it heralded a paradigm shift in the attitude of organizations in favor of digital health initiatives. Healthcare organizations in Asia/Pacific are increasingly exploring avenues to engage better with patients, craft competitive defenses against digital natives, and at the same time, leverage digital technologies for new revenue streams. Consistency, agility, and brisk infrastructure and application modernization are expected to form the pillars of this digitally led strategy.

This IDC Presentation seeks to provide the healthcare tech buyer community with an understanding of some broad shifts in business and IT in the healthcare industry (especially in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic) and the way emerging solutions, such as low-code/no-code application development platforms, can be leveraged to unlock digital doors through rapid application/service development and deployment.

More so, this report presents a curated list of low-code/no-code application areas, use cases, and implementation examples across the world. The aim is to bring onto the table an indicative list of realistic use cases and best practices for healthcare SPs in Asia/Pacific.
