Abstract

This IDC FutureScape provides the IDC Asia/Pacific viewpoint of how these globally relevant predictions will impact local markets, providing end users with advice on what to consider and how to best think, build, and retain digital trust for tomorrow and beyond.

The Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) (APEJ) region is very diverse in its application of technology with the sheer size of the China market having a significant impact on any regional viewpoint.

As more APEJ countries are adjusting to the post-vaccination phase, it is expected that many organizations will adopt to a hybrid working model with a mixture of on-premises and remote workforce. This results in trust being a fundamental factor for the success of business operations moving forward.

The year 2022 should be the year to step back and take a more strategic view of what digital trust technologies need to be in place now and for the future. Focusing on integration, automation, and ease of use should be at the forefront of any decisions, followed by sustainability and resilience.
