Abstract

This IDC Perspective provides an overview of issues identified in a comparative assessment between the Australian, Canadian, Chilean, and South African mining, equipment, technology, and services (METS) sectors.

“All four regions analysed in this report have long, successful histories of mining. Despite this, each region continues to address different aspects of the METS sector differently. This results in the different regions excelling at different areas (e.g., Australia excels at technical capabilities).
