Abstract

IDC predicts that by 2023, 75% of global 2000 IT organizations will have adopted automated operations practices to transform their IT workforce to support unprecedented scale. Artificial intelligence for IT operations (AIOps) refers to the application of AI/machine learning (ML) as well as big data and analytics in an intelligent and highly automated manner to address the challenges of modern infrastructure management. This report presents key findings from IDC's 2021 Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) Software Survey on the state of AIOps adoption in the region and offers practical guidance to enterprises starting their respective AIOps journeys.
