Abstract

The IDC Asia/Pacific (Excluding Japan) Enterprise Services Sourcing Survey (August 2021) was designed to identify and explore the key differences among regional enterprises in terms of their adoption of intelligent automation and their stage of maturity in their automation journey. IDC defines intelligent automation as a collection of transformational business and operational capabilities realized by the combination of data analytics, artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML), and diverse automation technologies. This study gauges the maturity and momentum of Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) (APEJ) enterprises on their intelligent automation journeys and segments the findings by country/region, industry vertical, and enterprise size.
