Abstract

This IDC Survey presents data from IDC's 2H21 Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) PC and Printer Survey. As the Asia/Pacific region begins to ease COVID-19 lockdowns, allowing most if not all businesses to operate at full capacity, challenges still exist as organizations are now seeing resistance from employees returning to work in the usual office setting. Organizations that have started their transformation journeys continued to push for the migration of their workflows and processes in a digitalized manner. About a quarter of the respondents saw challenges as they either have no concrete plans or have not considered any workplace transformation. Adopting digital solutions benefits businesses in general. The main challenges come from how organizations that have operated for decades as they may not necessarily have the know-how to integrate some of these digital solutions into their day-to-day operations. This document will dive deeper into some of the key reasons driving document management software and solutions in the region.
