This IDC Survey Spotlight highlights the top considerations of organizations in choosing an Internet of Things (IoT) platform and technology. It contains data from IDC's October 2022 APJ IoT Survey based on responses from 1,450 enterprises in Asia/Pacific (including Japan) (APJ).
"Choosing the right enterprise IoT platform can be a complex endeavor. When organizations add the additional complication of the many IoT devices out there, it can get even harder to decide which IoT platform is best suited for their business. So, it is essential that technology providers offer preferred features that meet the end user needs," says Khairil Anwar, senior research manager, AP Telco, and IoT Research, at IDC.
