Abstract
This IDC Survey summarizes selected results from IDC's 2022 Digital Transformation CIS Survey that was conducted in April 2022. It highlights the area of security, covering security spending priorities in 2022 for enterprises in India, in-demand security products and services, implementation plans and challenges for enterprise security, top IT security operational priorities, enterprise ideology on the journey toward secure access service edge (SASE), and SASE elements from both a business size classification and industry-wise perspective. This document also covers industry-specific investment areas for 2022 and over the next two years.

"As enterprises plan to move ahead to cloud-centric architectures and gain an edge in the DX ecosystem, building a strong and airtight defense mechanism and converging network and security for a centralized view of threats and attacks are becoming vital as well. Enterprises need to look at security in the form of not only segmentation but also consolidation," she adds.
