Abstract

This IDC Survey Spotlight provides insights into how the use of digital technology is changing as Asia/Pacific (including Japan) (APJ) organizations shift to digital-first strategy. Today, three-quarters of Asia/Pacific organizations have adopted digital-first approaches in their digital transformation (DX). In this next phase of DX, focus shifts from scaling digitalization within the enterprise to using digital technology for value creation. The shift calls for increased investments into digital-first capabilities in real-time decision making and data contextualization to transform into a digital business, and technology vendors must position their products and services for digital-first requirements. This study contains data from Wave 1 of IDC Asia/Pacific Future Enterprise Resiliency and Spending Survey, conducted in January 2022.
