This IDC Survey analyzes cloud adoption and priorities in the utilities sector in Asia/Pacific, mainly India, China, Australia, and New Zealand, and examines Asia/Pacific utility results from IDC's 2021 Industry Cloud Path Survey. The survey deals with cloud adoption, business drivers, challenges, benefits, mission-critical workloads, applications, and experiences with the cloud architectures of enterprises worldwide. Cloud deployment scales through private, public, hybrid, and industry cloud. Public cloud is gaining more traction, and according to IDC, public cloud services spending within Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan and China) (APEJC) utility companies is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 18.4%.
