Abstract

This IDC Survey Spotlight summarizes selected results from IDC's 2022 Future of Digital Infrastructure 2022 Global Sentiment Survey. The criticality of technological advancements has made enterprises depend heavily on their digital infrastructure. In the coming years, the broad adoption of fit-for-purpose heterogeneous computing technologies, trusted infrastructure, dynamic multi-cloud architectures, and highly automated, as-a-service operating models will collectively transform infrastructure strategies. Integration is the overriding message with infrastructure. Everything new needs to work with everything in place to keep businesses up and running, drive innovations, and achieve operational efficiency better and faster.
