APJ C-Suite Sentiments 2023: How APJ C-Suites Are Slicing through the Storms of Disruption ─ Optimize, Modernize, Accelerate
Abstract
This IDC Survey is a three-part report series that explores the Asia/Pacific (including Japan) (APJ) C-Suites’ perspectives on the state of the economy and their business and technology priorities and challenges for 2023. The series aims to help technology vendors understand how to meet buyers’ changing priorities in facing the storms of disruptions (i.e., inflation and recession, talent shortages) while accelerating transformation efforts to become digital businesses.
This study is part two of the series, which examines APJ C-Suites’ business and technology priorities with 2023’s budgeting themes focused on technology optimization, modernization, and growth acceleration, aiming to enable a more resilient and scalable digital-first foundation to accelerate growth. The report also examines how CEOs with their C-Suites increasingly lead digital initiatives and how they perceive technology vendors as strategic partners in business transformations.
This analysis is based on a subset of APJ respondents to IDC’s Worldwide C-Site Sentiments Survey conducted in August 2022. Respondents included 247 C-level technology decision makers from APJ organizations with US$100 million or more revenue.
