Abstract

This IDC Health Insights Perspective examines how millennials are different from members of the Generation X (Gen X) and baby boomer generations when it comes to interacting with healthcare organizations (HCOs). Born between 1980 and 2000, millennials have grown up in a time of rapid change, particularly in the area of technology. These digital natives have greater expectations for an omni-channel customer experience than their Gen X and baby boomer parents or grandparents.
