Abstract

This IDC Market Presentation presents the results of IDC Canada's ITAP n6 2020 Survey, conducted in September 2020. Survey participants were asked about their level of adoption for endpoint security technologies and their buying behavior, namely the cadence of refresh cycles, the criteria they judge security technologies by, vendor preference, and triggers for vendor changes. This document can help vendors understand what to expect from endpoint security buyers throughout the sales cycle as well as assisting end users in determining whether or not they are making the same determinations as other Canadian organizations when it comes to endpoint security procurement.
