What Impact Has COVID-19 Had on Meeting Attendee Preferences in Canada?

By: Evan HardieResearch Director, Future of Work, Printers & Digital Displays

Abstract

This IDC Survey Spotlight describes how meeting attendee preferences have changed from pre-pandemic levels. The document contains data from IDC Canada's Business and IT Advisory Panel (BITAP), which was completed in August 2021. IDC conducted this survey to understand how IT and line-of-business foresee changes to in-person meetings.

"For many Canadian organizations, a move to a hybrid working model will result in a large percentage of meeting attendees calling into meetings in the future. This will prompt organizations to focus on parity of technology and experience for their employees, providing them with a comparable experience to being in the office, when working in other locations," explained Evan Hardie, research director, Imaging and Future of Work at IDC Canada.
