Abstract

This IDC Survey presents the results of IDC's 2021 Canadian Top Executive Survey, which examines senior line-of-business executives' and CIOs' priorities in the digital economy. The survey looks at how technology is being implemented and managed in Canadian organizations, with a focus on digital transformation (DX) and innovation initiatives. This IDC Survey examines several aspects of DX comparing viewpoints from IT leaders with other line-of-business executives on topics like strategy, digital road maps, the role of innovation groups, IT's role in the organization, and the performance of IT suppliers. The survey analyzes COVID-19's impact on the Canadian economy and reveals some of the adjustments that organizations have had to make during and after the pandemic.
