On-line Presentation

Abstract

This IDC Survey is an update to previously published COVID-19 Impact: 2020 Canadian Consumer Behaviours and Services (IDC #CA46166220, July 2020). It presents the most recent findings from IDC's recent consumer survey on consumer behaviours and services, particularly the impact due to the COVID-19 outbreak and the subsequent restrictions in Canada.

Results presented in this document outline the general outlook, economic impact, and consumer perceptions/behaviours particularly towards the TV and internet services markets and consumer devices in Canada on account of COVID-19. Cuts by various demographics (age group, household income, and others) and service providers are shown where relevant. Additional segmentation is available upon request.

This document is useful for market intelligence roles, product managers, and product marketers who look to best understand consumer sentiment and behaviours relating to the topics outlined previously as they navigate the market and serve their customers in these unprecedented times.
