This IDC Market Presentation highlights internal and external business outcomes that affect their IT buying decision making.
In IDC Canada's IT Advisory Panel (ITAP) n5 2022 Survey, August 2022 (n = 491), we asked Canadian IT decision makers about internal and external business outcomes that affect their IT buying decision making. Their responses are segmented by business size and industry, as well as compared with those same outcome criteria last year at this time, to identify shifts in thinking and priorities for Canadian organizations as we continue to face considerable macroeconomic pressures coming from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, increased inflation, supply chain limitations, and the continued war in Eastern Europe. A geographic breakdown of the effects of data privacy concerns and regulatory compliance is also included in this study.
