Abstract

This IDC Presentation is a companion document to Canadian Manufacturing ICT Landscape, 2022 (IDC #CA48466022, April 2022). The presentation uses a curated selection of IDC Canada IT Advisory Panel survey data to investigate the Canadian manufacturing sector's current approach to two of the three components of our Future of Work model: workspaces and work culture. The document examines skills shortages, hybrid work environments, smart facilities, and IT services purchasing.

This presentation provides insights on the vendor ecosystem of enterprise ICT infrastructure to make decisions around partnering and marketing, communication, and sales go-to-market investments in targeting the Canadian manufacturing sector.
