Central and Eastern Europe Internet of Things Decision Maker Survey: Trends and Buyer Behavior in 2016

By: Milan KalalProgram Manager, Internet of Things, Central and Eastern Europe

On-line Presentation

This IDC Survey analyzes perceptions and attitudes toward the Internet of Things (IoT) among purchasing decision makers at organizations in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region. The study addresses the organizational and business impact of IoT, as well as IoT strategies, including adoption drivers and inhibitors. It also examines IoT budget ownership in organizations, sourcing intentions, and approaches to security, cloud, and analytics. Different vendors' market opportunities are also assessed.

This presentation is based on the results of IDC's Central and Eastern Europe IoT Decision Maker Survey, which involved 561 organizations with more than 100 employees across CEE (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, and Russia), carried out between October and November 2016.
