This IDC Market Forecast presents a view of MFP shipments in Western Europe by channel, focusing on the indirect channel and the direct channel. The indirect channel is split into indirect — dealer/VAR/SI, indirect — etailer, and indirect — retail.

"Mergers and acquisitions seen in the indirect channel and associated solution providers in 2018 are only the start of what is expected to be a major shake-up in the hardcopy industry and associated markets. Vendors will continue to purchase lucrative parts of the print services channel, resellers will acquire other resellers, and vendors themselves may get purchased by other vendors.
