Western European Healthcare Providers' Perception of ICT Vendors' Digital Transformation Capabilities, 2017

Abstract

This IDC Survey Spotlight presents results from the IDC European Vertical Markets Survey, November 2017.

The IDC European Vertical Markets Survey was conducted in 3Q17 and involved 1,967 European companies with more than 10 employees, including 141 hospitals and 63 other healthcare providers in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the U.K., the Netherlands, and the Nordics.

IDC analyzed how IT executives perceived the offerings of IT vendors in terms of overall satisfaction with products and services and enabling digital transformation. This study presents highlights from that analysis, which indicates that a mix of traditional and 3rd-Platform–native technology vendors are making an impact on healthcare IT.
