This IDC Perspective is based on the content of a number of workshop sessions held at the first European CISO Summit, held in November 2017. It includes several key takeaways from the discussions held with 50 CISOs from large European organizations, and as such offers insight into the European CISO agenda.
"Most large European organizations have issues with providing security, in the context of the dynamic threat landscape, enabling digital transformation, and substantial regulatory upheaval. The feedback from our summit discussions offers valuable insight into the CISO agenda, and helps vendor organizations tailor their propositions to match end-user requirements," said Duncan Brown, Associate Vice President for Security at IDC.
