On-line Presentation

Abstract

This IDC Presentation summarizes key trends around video technology solutions based on IDC's 2019 European Enterprise Communications Survey. In particular, it focuses on the current and planned use of video equipment (endpoints/systems) and services by European businesses within the next three years. The presentation analyzes market trends and indicates potential growth areas within respective countries, industries, and business size segments.

IDC's European Enterprise Communications Survey is an annual survey and a "must have" for any network and services vendor. It provides real-time insight into the priorities and strategic intentions of network executives, offering guidance for vendors' strategy planning and market positioning. The survey covers a range of topics including WAN, hybrid networks, network infrastructure, software-defined networks (SDNs), cloud, unified communication, video, contact centers, data and voice services, network life-cycle services, provider selection criteria and preferences, and overall trends in the telecommunications sector.

Results are provided by nine Western European countries (Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the U.K.), six verticals (finance, manufacturing, the public sector, retail/ wholesale, business services, and transport), and six business size segments (50–99 employees; 100–249 employees; 250–499 employees; 500–999; 1,000–4,999 employees; and 5,000 or more employees).
