Line-of-business leaders such as heads of marketing, chief financial officers, and human capital leaders are taking on increasingly large amounts of technology investments on their own. By 2023, more than 50% of technology budgets in Europe will be held by C-suite personas outside the CIO. IDC Europe is running a series of reports to map this out. This document focuses on human capital leaders, highlighting their priorities and their relationships with IT tools and IT staff. It also provides strategic advice on how that persona group can effectively transform and work cohesively in the C-suite.
