This IDC Survey analyzes the maturity of European organizations across different industries with a deep dive on how they merge the expectation on key performance indicator (KPI) usage and achieving good performance. The analysis is based on a sample of more than 1,500 interviews with IT and line-of-business (LOB) leaders, executive, and members of the C-suite.
"Tech vendors should understand that European industries have different maturity levels as well as varied combinations of issues, benefits, gaps, and opportunities to be unlocked," said Erica Spinoni, Digital Transformation Practice. "Another level of complexity is that organizations have their own digital transformation (DX) maturity levels and are on different DX journeys. Therefore, it is critical to assess DX maturity on a case-by-case basis and treat each industry (and organization) as a unique case. Once the inside-out assessment is completed, start leveraging more standardized approaches to tackle problems, address complexities, or unlock benefits."
