This IDC Market Perspective looks at how prevailing market conditions and innovation are accelerating the migration to cloud print and document management. Dramatic market disruption and incremental technology advancements are accelerating the shift from on-premises print services and management to the cloud. This perfect storm of conditions will mean that print providers with expertise in both worlds will have a distinct competitive advantage. The shelf life for printing may be short lived as printed pages are irreversibly lost to workflow digitization.
